Forty acres on the south side of the property are reserved just for Wild Turkey’s retirement horses.

A covered roof attaches the indoor arena to the training barn, and was designed to be high enough for a trailer to pull under for unloading. Paved rubber bricks make up the aisleway, and lighting was carefully installed to minimize shadows for ease of unloading at night

When this picture was taken in late summer, the fnishing touches were being made on the interior of the training barn. The grooming area has a decidedly European feel, with solarium above one of the crossties and a wooden boot box on the left side of the barn aisle
