Needy Nags
Stokes is a 15.2h, 4 year old Thoroughbred gelding. He is very snazzy with his 4 white feet! Stokes is a friendly boy to work with on the ground. He has no vices and is also good to ride, although he is not for a timid rider. He is Maryland bred by Jazz Club and out of I Am Too. He is up to date on vaccinations and has a current coggins. This guy has raced 15 times and cracked his shin in his most recent race on 10/9. The prognosis for this injury is very good, he just needs the time to heal and then he will be ready to jump and play! He is ready for some exercise in the form of small turn out area, trotting under saddle or on a lunge line. X-rays are available. Stokes is located at Laurel Park in Laurel, Maryland. There is no adoption fee as a condition for placement but a minimum donation of at least $150.00 will help us continue in our work placing these wonderful horses. Dr. Krystal Key is a 16 year old, 15.2 h, registered (Arabian Horse Association #IA314614) Arabian/Saddlebred cross. Krystal is a former show horse from Nebraska. She is well trained but can be nervous under saddle. Krystal has had a number of owners in her lifetime and needs a forever home. Her most recent owner accepted responsibility for her care after Krystal’s previous owner found herself in fnancial duress. When time constraints prevented her new owner from being able to work with her suffciently, she began looking for a new home for her. The owner chose Rainbow Meadows to be her new guardians and assist with selecting her “forever home.” Krystal is located in Kansas; but can travel to the right home. For more information, contact Karen Everhart at (620) 725-3402 or karen.everhart@rainbowmeadowsranch.com, or go to www.rainbowmeadowsranch.com. Rainbow Meadows does not charge adoption fees, but adopters are requested to consider a free will donation so that we can continue to help more horses.
