Feeding Your Passion for Horses in College
With 67 years of being a leader in giving, donating over $4.5 million to help build Texas Children’s Hospital Main and West
Campuses, The Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, one of the most prestigious and largest horse shows in the country, is also know for
helping children by promoting a passion of horses and the world of equestrian sports.Continuing its devotion to education and young
riders, Pin Oak chose to host the THJA College Equestrian Fair. After their high school graduation, competitive riders ask, “What’s
next?” To help answer this question, Pin Oak decided to provide a forum to educate high school students and their parents on continuing
their passion for horses into the collegiate level. The Fair provides aspiring riders a “one-stop shopping” experience to learn about
what colleges offer and hopefully fnd a program that fts their goals – both in and out of the show ring. Pin Oak extends an invitation
to all equestrian minded students to attend the 3rd Annual THJA College Equestrian Fair, September 23rd, from 4:30 – 9:00 in the
Texas Children’s Hospital Arena Club at Great Southwest Equestrian Center in Katy, TX. Unlike similar, larger fairs, The Pin Oak
fair provides the student with a one-on-one opportunity to
meet with college representatives in a more intimate setting
with a two hour college meet and greet, a panel lecture and
Q & A period with representatives from IHSA, ANRC,
Equestrian Riding and USEF. A fashion show with door
prizes has been added to the event, sponsored by The Lead
