.
Polo America Expo

Sheryl Clark
is back in California and loving it - and
so is her Bengal cat, Kilimanjaro. “He loves to ride in the
car,” Sheryl says. “He goes to polo matches, the beach,
on walks, etc. This morning he was playing outside (the
cats are allowed out for about an hour or so when I am
home). I was working on the computer when I received a
call from my friend and neighbor, Vanessa Joe. She was
on her way to a doctor’s appointment and discovered that
Kilimanjaro had jumped into an open window of her car
and was accompanying her on the ride! I could hear him
in the background, crowing about this clever achievement!
Here I was worried that he would run in the street when a
car was driving by - it never occurred to me that he might
become a carjacker!
Del Walton
and fancé
Tessa Lord
are expecting their
second child: girl or boy? Gotta ask.

who plays with both Columbine and
Aspen broke his leg in a game. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Leo Benjamin
just can’t seem to stay out of trouble: he broke
his hip recently, and then of course there was a bit of, um, major
fooding in Vermont that kept both Nancy and him rather busy.
Nancy tells us he’s ready to get back in the saddle. Unstoppable,
is our Leo!
Sugar Erskine
played his frst practice for the fall season
at Grand Champions in later September after suffering
his broken ankle in Santa Barbara during the 20 goal.

Sidelines Tetrathlon
was great last year, and this year
promises to be even better! Where
else can you see polo players jump
fences, dressage riders on reiners or
show jumpers (and reiners) playing
polo?
Sean O’Keefe

job as the offcial
“event manager”. He
is at it again this year
with an even bigger
and better show.
The Tetrathlon will
be held again at the
Jim Brandon Arena
in West Palm Beach,
and as usual to beneft
