played host to the Pacific Coast Arena Polo League Finals
in a unique event at the renowned Los Angeles Equestrian
Center in early November. Helping present this year’s
event wi l l be designer

the Gay Polo League

World Dressage Masters Palm Beach
. Even if

Poway Polo Club
hosted what is purported to be the
first inter-service mi l itary polo tournament in history (but
we question that… perhaps the first in 50 years or so?)
The
Air Force
polo team prevai led over the
Army
polo
team in the finals. The four teams, representing four
branches of the U.S. Mi l itary and comprised of both on
duty and former mi l itary servicemen from around the
country, competed in a round-robin. The fundraiser event
raised nearly $15,000 for the
Semper Fi Fund
, a 501(c)
(3) non-profit that provides immediate financial support for
injured and critical ly i l l members of the U.S. Armed Forces
and their fami l ies.

Argentine
Open

won’t have to miss a beat of the world’s most prestigious
polo tournament!
The Villages Polo Club
in Florida is taking ful l advantage
of it’s temperate weather and started it’s late fal l season
with the first finals right after Thanksgiving. It’s a glowing
showcase of American talent, as

goal season.

wi l l host the annual Gay
Polo Tournament, Saturday, Apri l 14th. Look for more

Tracey Topping
has given the Lodge at
International
Polo Club
a face l ift. The chairs around the pool have a
new color scheme and al l the chairs in the box seats have
been redone.
