Passing:
Lucien Henry Capehart Jr
., who for more than
40 years chronicled Palm Beach society in its fnest — and
sometimes not so — moments, died recently of lung disease.
Donald V. Little
died peacefully on February 29 from
injuries sustained on Sunday, February 26, when his horse
fell while jumping a fence during the Masters Classic in
the International Arena at the Winter Equestrian Festival
in Wellington, FL. Judith A. Little, Don’s wife of 57 years,
said, “I will miss him so much. Donald died doing what he
loved. He was loved and respected by so many people,
including his fellow competitors, partners and team members
in the horse worlds of polo, feld hunting, show jumping and
Thoroughbred racing as well as in all other aspects of his life.”
Joe Stone
had been suffering with cancer for a long time. His
last days were at Palm Beach Hospice, which does a wonderful
job. Very sad. He worked right up to the end.

EquestrianCoach.com is not only a labor of love, it is a
family affair. Bernie’s wife, Cait, edits EquestrianCoach.com
video in an office at their home. Daughter, Natasha, a top
West Coast jumper rider, demonstrates her winning form
in many of the instructional
video segments. And it all
comes together with the
expertise of Anna-Marie
Abell, Traurig’s right hand,
a marketer with incredible
technical savvy.
