Polo may be for pretty women and dapper gentlemen but at Prestonwood Polo in Oak Point, Texas, it’s for casual family fun and their popular tailgate section is the place to be! The Aiken Ladies Invitational will be held September 24-28 and as a WCT high goal 4-6 goal in the arena. The Invitational will be held in conjunction with a fundraiser and clothing drive for the Cumbee Center (a shelter for abused women and children in Aiken County). The finals on Saturday will feature a wine tasting and southern food favorites. Trophies include custom belt buckles. The ALI will follow the Campbell Cup 0-2 Goal ladies being hosted by the Aiken Polo Club September 18-22. Plan to enter both tournaments and enjoy 10 days of polo and fun!

All eyes were on jumper rider Evan Coluccio when he strutted his stuff on the runway during the 2013 Twilight Polo Opening Night Fashion Show at Great Meadow Polo. Way to go Evan – it looks you could have a lucrative modeling career!

The Cincinnati Polo Club is enjoying their first season on their “new” home field at Wilshire Farm in Goshen, Ohio. They will be hosting the following teams August through October: Columbus-Alpine Polo, Columbus-Dark Horse, Hickory Hall (Indianapolis), Stinson Farms and Louisville. On September 15th they will host a charity event for BowTie Cause designed to draw attention to the organization and polo in the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond. The Cincinnati Polo Club has offered two “Learn to Play Polo” clinics so far in 2013 and have two more on the books for the fall.
