ohn Walsh of America’s Most
Wanted, shown before playing
in last year’s Van Metre Cup,
returned again this year to play his third
beneft at Great Meadow (VA) for Capital
Caring’s hospice. “I wear boots made by
the Fagliano family for four generations
in Buenos Aires. My son Hayden does,
too. They’re some of the most gorgeous
boots in the world. We get most of our
stuff down at The Tackeria (FL). Tony
Coppola is a really good friend. But I
love those Fagliano boots. I wear a lot of
Ralph Lauren and Nacho Figueras, Ralph
Lauren’s top and most handsome model,
is a really good friend of mine – a great
polo player and wonderful father of four
kids. We have played for Ralph Lauren’s
charity teams and I have an affnity for
Ralph’s clothes. I love Ferragamo shoes
– I have three or four pairs with me. This
Capital Caring Polo Cup is a real labor of
love: I get to see Salvatore and his wife,
Tim Gannon (Outback), a bunch of friends
and we get together at Great Meadow and
play polo for a great cause.”
