FOR HORSE PEOPLE • ABOUT HORSE PEOPLE
Along with the developmental progress that many riders make by
riding at ATRC, their families have formed a strong community and
often offer one another support and advice.

community, and since each horse requires three volunteers to help
with the riding lesson, everyone really comes together to support
these riders.”
“There’s nothing I’d rather do than continue to help the riders at
ATRC,” said Miika Rolett. “We certainly couldn’t continue to offer

us to raise money, and we are very grateful to Bright’s Creek for
sponsoring our chapter.”

and Gilberto Iragorri have owned horses since childhood and want
to instill the joys of horsemanship and the sporting and equestrian
lifestyle to the next generation of families at Bright’s Creek. Along
with their business partner Pasquale Giordano, the team has made
a commitment to the equestrian community in North Carolina by
supporting a number of events, including horse shows, steeplechase
races and polo matches on and off property.

This fall, Aidan and Jasper will make their way back to ATRC
to continue riding. Strengthened by the support of Give a Buck for
Special Equestrians and Bright’s Creek, it’s likely that the boys
will be able to continue their therapeutic riding at the Appalachian
Therapeutic Riding Center for many years to come.
