I am continuing the “Meet our Members” post! This week features Allyson Boyd! So glad to welcome Allyson to the team this year! Name:  Allyson Boyd Year in school:  Freshmen Major:  Biology Hometown:  Hardeeville, sc Horse Name: Miss Melody (Missy) Breed: Quarter horse Age: 10 Level:  Novice/ Training Where do you keep your horse/Train with: Paradise Farm with Lellie Ward How did I start riding: I got a pony for my 7th birthday. Biggest riding accomplishment: Changing from a hunter to an eventer Biggest riding goal: Making it to Rolex Favorite phase in eventing: Cross country Why did you choose USC Aiken:  Because of all the riding opportunities Favorite thing about eventing: There’s three phases, the matching colors, and the trust you have to have for you and your horse. What was your reason for joining the eventing team?: To meet more people like me What are your hopes to get from being on the eventing team?: To get advice from people like me to be able to get better.
