A collection of stallions bred in Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia, Canada and the United States were trained, tested and judged by a panel during their stay in the Sooner State. The winner of the 70-Day Test, Canadian-bred Fabian DSF (Freestyle x Hierarch), claimed top honors with exceptional marks for rideability

A Look at Del Mar Race Track

Holly Hugo-Vidal, who writes the “West Side Story” column for Sidelines Magazine, recently visited Del Mar Race Track and did a great photo journal of her “Day at the Races.” Holly captured part of the giant mural in the lobby of the Del Mar Race Track (can you spot any celebrities?) and then went to the stable area where she spotted a lone washing machine that is responsible for lots and lots of laundry! “I love the washing machine,” Holly said! She also discovered the best way to dry bandages if it’s a sunny California day! Photos by Holly Hugo-Vidal. Part of the mural in the lobby at the Del Mar Race Track.
