By Jan Westmark-Allan New Sidelines intern Katherine Winter Martin, from Texas! I am thrilled with our Sidelines interns – they do a great job helping me out on our website and Facebook page. I want to welcome Texas rider, writer and photographer Katherine Winter Martin – a new Sidelines intern! You can read her story below, and if you follow our Facebook page you will have already seen her photos. Katherine is a whiz kid when it comes to photography (that makes three photography whiz kid Sidelines interns – yay, Christina, Rachel and Katherine!!) and I know you will want to share all their great photos.

By Jan Westmark-Allan The Winter Equestrian Festival is certainly a place many riders dream about showing – and it’s a great dream! We spent years living in the Wellington area and showing at WEF was part of our life, a really great part. For those who live far away or don’t have the finances or the horse or pony – we want to help you show at WEF! Sidelines Magazine has joined forces with WEF to give one lucky winner the chance to show during the 11th week of the circuit – March 22-24.

By Dani Moritz It’s hard to believe my final undergraduate semester is here – but it is! It feels like just yesterday I was thirteen years old riding school ponies and going to sleepovers. Now, I’m about to graduate college, get married and face the real world.
