Parker, CO – July 25, 2013 - The crown jewel of the Summer in the Rockies six-week series, the $50,000 Parker Adventist Hospital Grand Prix, was held on Saturday afternoon of Week VI. It was Military Day at the Colorado Horse Park, honoring and welcoming military and first responders to enjoy family activities and great show jumping. Title sponsor Parker Adventist Hospital was on hand for helmet fittings and distribution of free riding helmets to children as part of their Equestrian Safety Program.

Beverley Widdowson (GBR), owner of the 10-year-old bay stallion Big Star ridden by Olympic team gold medallist Nick Skelton, has been awarded the prestigious title of FEI Owner of the Year for the second year running by the FEI and the Jumping Owners Club. A year ago, Beverley Widdowson picked up the coveted owner’s prize with her 12-year-old grey gelding Carlo 273, ridden by Nick Skelton to double bronze at the FEI European Jumping Championships 2011 in Madrid (ESP), and which is now the new top horse of Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP). “To win this award for the second year running is an incredible feeling, and is testament to all the hard work of everyone on the team involved in the success of Big Star – I am over the moon,” said Beverley Widdowson.

Wellington, FL – February 15, 2013 – The Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF), continued today with two top classes for the Small Tour and Large Tour in the Florida Dressage Classic, CDI-W presented by the USPRE Association . Wellington, FL – February 14, 2013 -The Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W, presented by the USPRE Association , started today at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival (AGDF). Competition at the Florida Dressage Classic CDI-W runs through February 17. With 18 entries in the $6,000 FEI Grand Prix, victory went to Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven (SWE) and Don Auriello, owned by Lövsta Stuteri and Antonia Ax:son Johnson.
