DALTON, OHIO (July 10, 2013) – Equine Science Society (ESS) recently honored Patricia Harris, Ph.D., director of science, Mars Horsecare, for her work as a scientist and equine nutrition specialist. Harris was presented with the Equine Nutrition Research Award, sponsored by the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA), during an annual ESS meeting in New Mexico in May. She is the first non-American to receive the prestigious award.

Amateur Competitors Applaud the Sponsors for their Support The competitors in the third annual So8ths/Nikon Three-Day Event in the “Heart of the Carolinas” were not just overwhelmed by how wonderful the event was but also by the generosity of its sponsors. The event took place May 2-5 in Chesterfield, SC. Amateur riders competing in Beginner Novice, Novice, and Training levels went home not only with a sense of accomplishment and accolades about an event well-run and facilities that are beyond comparison but also with a bounty of gifts..

Wellington , Florida - January 23, 2013 - Setting a historic record for a show jumping class purse, the 2013 FTI Consulting Great Charity Challenge presented by Fidelity Investments® (FTI GCC) will distribute $1.5 million dollars to 34 Palm Beach Countycharities in an exciting event at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center on Saturday, January 26, 2013. It is only with the generous support of the team and corporate sponsors and riders that in its fourth year the FTI GCC has become one of the largest and broadest-based philanthropic events in the county. With this year’s total, the event will have donated 4.2 million dollars to more than 75 Palm Beach County Charities and has had a significant positive impact on thousands of lives in Wellington and Palm Beach County.
