It was a festive event in April for Opera Under the Stars, keynoted by artist, author and activist Mary Fisher, and held at Kimberly and Frederic Boyer’s Hampton Green Farm. The event benefitted Opera Fusion Inc., a young West Palm Beach-based company that plans to mount the musical drama “Not In My Town.” Dr. Xavier Garcia, a baritone and West Palm Beach veterinarian who heads the Opera Fusion board, not only entertained by singing the “Toreador” song from “Carmen,” but two of the Hampton Green Farm horses, Vaquero and Lentisco, accompanied Xavier to the stage when he performed.
