Last month’s Extreme Mustang Makeover (EMM) at the Jacksonville Equestrian Center was a success, and it has the numbers to back it up: 15 mustangs were adopted, 16 trainers competed and 893 people attended. The audience witnessed the trainability, beauty, intelligence and versatility of wild mustangs May 18–20 and were able to adopt one as their own through a bidding process held at the event. Designed to find suitable homes for American mustangs, EMM challenges trainers from across the country to transform mustangs into adoptable companions. Trainers then showcase their mounts’ talents at the public competition for cash and prizes. The catch? They only have 100 days to turn their mustang from wild to mild. The 2017 EMM tour continues with four more stops to go across the U.S. For more information and the full schedule, visit www.extrememustangmakeover.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">www.extrememustangmakeover.com.
