U.S. Olympic team silver medalist Lucy Davis has joined the Old Salem Farm team as trainer at one of North America’s top boarding, training and horse show event facilities, based in North Salem, New York. Lucy’s string of horses, including her 2016 Rio Olympic mount, the 14-year-old Belgian Sport Horse gelding Barron, will call Old Salem Farm home starting in spring 2018. She will continue her competition season at the ever-popular Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows running May 8–13 and May 15–20, as well as participate in Old Salem Farm events, including the Old Salem Farm Fall Classic taking place September 11–16 and the famed American Gold Cup CSI4*-W September 26–30. “After making a move to the East Coast, I’ve been searching for a place to advance my work with clients as well as base my own string of horses,” said Lucy, 25. “Old Salem Farm is a perfect fit for both me and my horses, and I can’t wait to begin working with the team, horses and riders at Old Salem Farm.”
