Horses are herd animals, but sometimes, despite our best efforts, we have to keep a single horse alone. If you are housing a solo horse in your barn, you can do a variety of things to make his life alone more comfortable. Get a Companion Animal Just because you can’t house two horses doesn’t mean that your horse has to live entirely alone.

The Dressage Foundation Awards Continuing Education Grants To Six Dressage Instructors

August 17, 2015 – The Dressage Foundation’s Continuing Education for Dressage Instructors Fund, established by Maryal and Charles Barnett in 2008, has recently awarded grants to six individuals to attend the United States Dressage Federation’s Instructor Certification Program. The following individuals each received a Continuing Education for Dressage Instructors grant: Christel Carlson (Spokane, WA) Sara Meeuwsen (Forest Grove, OR) credit Elizabeth Burnard Cody Pritchard (Milford, NY) credit Emily Kishbaugh Photography Jennifer Flowers (Statesville, NC) credit Nancy Williams Andrea Quale (North Plains, OR) Mary Richmond Brown (Post Falls, ID) credit Dee Dee Brown Instructors attending any portion of the Instructor Certification Program, including the workshops, pre-certification, and testing, can use individual grants through this Fund. Individual grants are awarded twice per year and the next deadline for applications is February 1, 2016
