Tampa, FL – December 9, 2013 – Missy Clark’s name is synonomous with excellence in equitation. This winter, she’s bringing her expertise to the Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit in Tampa, FL. On December 30, 2013, Clark will host an Equitation Over Fences Clinic at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
The clinic is held in conjunction with the Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit, which runs Dec. 27-31, 2013, and the opportunity to participate in the clinic is free to exhibitors of the Gold Coast Quarter Horse Circuit.
The Equitation Over Fences Clinic will run in two sessions in the newly renovated Grand Prix Arena of the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center. The first session will be held from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the second session will run from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Each session is limited to 10 mounted riders, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up today, email your preferred ride time to Peg at MEdmond333@aol.com. Emails will be answered promptly. Auditors are also encouraged to attend the clinic free of charge.
Missy Clark has been a leader in the equitation and show jumping training industry for years, and she currently operates North Run alongside her husband, John Brennan. North Run is based out of both Warren, VT, and Wellington, FL, and is home to some of the nation’s top equitation riders and horses.
Clark grew up riding under the tutelage of her mother, Doris Clark, and she went on to ride jumpers with George Morris and Rodney Jenkins. Clark’s strong roots in the country’s equitation system have helped her produce numerous top riders, many of whom have gone on to be successful professionals. Her coaching talent, work ethic, keen organizational skills and desire to be the best that she can be are all passed on to her students, making for winning combinations.
