January 9, 2015 – The Dressage Foundation’s Renee Isler Dressage Support Fund has awarded a $1,000 grant to instructor Stephanie Brown-Beamer (NY) to train her Friesian cross, Gryphon Z, with Pam Goodrich.
Stephanie’s long-term goal is to compete Gryphon Z at Grand Prix, and she hopes that the month-long training with Pam will help her and Gryphon Z to Intermediate Level this year. While she is in Florida, Stephanie will also be volunteering her time in Lendon Gray’s Dressage4Kids Winter Intensive Training Program.
“I am very excited to spend time with such an incredible horsewoman as Pam, and add to my knowledge and skill set,” said Stephanie. “The more efficient I can become in teaching, the better partnership I will have with my horses and my students.”
Grants are available for young riders and professionals through the Renee Isler Dressage Support Fund. Since 2008, the Renee Isler Dressage Support Fund has provided nearly $40,000 in grants/scholarships to support the further education of the recipients.
