Soiree Hosted by Equestrian Elite Will Feature Special Performance by World Famous “Rockjazz” Pianist Sensation, ELEW
New York, NY, August 27 – The Jump for Hope, a fundraising event for the Equestrian Aid Foundation, will take place on Friday, September 19th at HAUS nightclub in New York City. The event will coincide with the Central Park Horse Show, presented by Rolex, which will draw an international equestrian crowd from around the world.
At the culmination of the Friday night $50,000 “NYC vs. The World” Speed class, riders, spectators, and New York’s social elite will make their way downtown to the newly opened HAUS nightclub for an evening of revelry. Located at the intersection of Soho and Tribeca within the historic 100-year-old Brunner Building that once housed the legendary Canal Room, the 5,300 square foot lounge and nightclub will provide a lavish venue for the party, which will include specialty cocktails made with Bai antioxidant beverages, bites by Franco Vitella Catered Affairs, and a special performance by ELEW.
ELEW has become one of the most sought after acts in the country. Similar to the way a rock front man treats a guitar, ELEW works the grand piano with an explosively physical style, reenergizing songs by Coldplay, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, and more. He’s has toured with Josh Groban, performed at the White House for Barack and Michelle Obama, and counts Dave Matthews, Naomi Campbell, and Leonardo Dicaprio as fans.
The evening will be hosted by HAUS’ Margaret Horowitz and Kevin Crawford, along with a committee of equestrians including: Karen O’Conner, Nic Roldan, Nick Dello Joio, Jamie Krauss Hess, Jenny Oz LeRoy, Stacey Werner, Susan Cowie, Kate Conover, Joni Maloney, Erin Stewart, and Michelle Grayson.
The mission of the Equestrian Aid Foundation is to provide grant-based assistance to horsemen and equine-related professionals suffering from illness or catastrophic injuries. The EAF is dedicated to helping people of all ages and from all backgrounds and disciplines, offering funding for medical, rehabilitation and essential expenses. Their goal is to empower their recipients and provide necessary tools to overcome adversity.
“The Equestrian Aid Foundation is grateful to the committee for providing us with a wonderful event to not only raise funds for our cause but also awareness for our organization in NYC,” said Stephanie Riggio Bulger, President Equestrian Aid Foundation. “The Central Park Horse Show will be a celebratory week for the equestrian community in New York, and we are delighted to contribute to that spirit.”
