Leipzig, Germany – The United States presented three horses to the veterinary panel at the Horse Inspection this afternoon for the Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Final. All proved sound and ready to compete. There were 18 horse/rider combinations fielded from the 11 nations competing at the 2011 Final.

“All of our combinations looked good, sound and ready to compete. Everyone is really excited to be here,” said Eva Salomon, USEF Dressage Team Chef d’Equipe. “We will do our first training in the main arena tonight and look forward to getting underway tomorrow.”
The competition officially begins tomorrow (Thursday) with the grand prix presented by Sparkasse. Ebeling and Rafalca will kick things off for the U.S. as the third combination in the arena at 6:20 p.m. CET in Hall One of the Leipzig Exhibition Center. Harding and Come On III drew seventh and will ride at 7:00 p.m. CET. Haddad-Staller, riding Winyamaro, will be the final U.S. combination in the ring at 8:15 p.m. CET after having drawn 13th.
