Staying in the KHP Campground for the second year required a pleasant hour or so bench-warming after Sharon dropped us off at the Campground Store. She had to be at the horse park in order to join the other Rolex riders — Allison Springer, Liz Halliday-Sharp, Will Coleman — and Kentucky Reining Cup rider Lyndsey, from nearby Georgetown, who happens to be a two-time National Reining Horse Association World Champion.
