Saddlefit 4 Life® is now offering Equine Ergonomist Seminars in both North America and Europe due to overwhelming interest in the course! Equine professionals and enthusiasts from across North America will be coming together for our 4th North American Saddlefit 4 Life® Equine Ergonomist Seminar March 25-29th in Redmond OR. Many thanks to Karen Laidley, DVM, for use of her beautiful facility for in-barn instruction providing participants hands-on training. The Seminar scheduled for Germany in April 2013 will be taught in English with attendees from UAE, Sweden,Holland, Germany, and South Africa already registered!

The intensive 5 Day Equine Ergonomics Seminar, taught by Saddlefit 4 Life® founder and Certified Master Saddler Jochen Schleese, teaches fundamental principles of equine back health, human and equine anatomy, the biomechanics of movement, the gender of saddle fit, and examines equine behavioural issues and rider comfort relating to saddle fit. The goal of the Saddlefit 4 Lifeâ diagnostic system is to protect horse and rider from long term damage. Seminar participants learn to recognize signs of poor saddle fit to horse and to rider, and to conduct the step by step S4L diagnostic saddle fit evaluation and analysis, addressing rider concerns, and suggesting solutions for improved fit, comfort and performance. Upon graduation, attendees will have gained invaluable knowledge to use in their current equine profession, or may wish to apply for an Internship program to become a Certified Independent Saddle Fitter and Saddle Ergonomist.
Since 2010, attendees from many countries have participated in the Saddlefit 4 Life ® training sessions, resulting in new Equine Ergonomists inCanada, USA, Germany, England, Brazil, Holland,Luxembourg, Belgium and Sweden. Saddlefit 4 Life® has been taught since 2006 at the German NationalRiding School in Warendorf, the School ofOsteopathic Medicine in Germany, as well as to the Berufsreiterverband in Germany since last year.
