Marilyn Little is Leading Lady On HSBC Eventing World Rankings

Frederick, Maryland, USA, July 12, 2013

U.S. Eventing Team Rider Marilyn Little has become the Leading Lady on the current HSBC FEI World Rider Rankings with 335 points halfway through the season.  Little has competed at four star level for just over a year and has already achieved global recognition in the sport she took up in the fall of 2011. An established international show jumper also currently competing in on the European International tour, Little now has a strong team of eventers at all levels and was the highest placed American rider at the Luhmuhlen CCI4* this spring finishing in 7th place with RF Demeter and 8th at the Saumur CCI3* with RF Smoke on the Water.
Little commented; “My incredible horses and the true strength of the team around me continues to make this exciting journey possible, and my deepest gratitude for their relentless effort. Every competitive path has it’s ups and downs and mine is certainly no exception, but the road leads on and the level and pace of both the show jumping and eventing sport that I have had the opportunity to be a part of during the summers in Europe is inspirational. The daily challenge and opportunity to study these sports here with those at the top of the global field is an incredible advantage. To now begin gaining ground against them in the World Rankings just pushes you that much more.”

Little is based in Europe for the summer with her teams of eventers and show jumpers. Her eventers will be aiming at Haras du Pin CIC3*
