2004
Disaster strikes.
Our 2004 cover
featured Hurricane
Frances, which
not only wreaked
havoc on
Wellington but
also destroyed the
Sidelines
office.
With no office
to work out of,
the
Sidelines’
employees began
to work from
cyberspace, a
practice we still
continue.
2005
Sidelines
started
as a polo
newspaper, so we
are always thrilled
to have polo
players grace our
cover – especially
when they are
Royalty! Prince
Charles, Prince
William and Prince
Harry have been
featured many
times on our
covers. They are
truly the Princes
of Polo!
2006
This
Sidelines
cover featured
American four-in-
hand combined
driver Chester
Weber as he
shows off his
winning driving
style. Chester
continues to
dominate the
combined
driving world.
2007
A member of the
United States
Dressage team
graced this cover!
The team won a
gold medal at the
2007 Pan Am
Games which
gave our cover
girl, Lauren
Sammis, plenty
to smile about.
2008
The famous
O’Connor
eventing team,
Karen, David
and Theodore,
made our cover.
This was the
year
Sidelines
celebrated 20
years in business
and launched our

com.
2009
Prince Harry, a
member of the
Royal Family
and an avid polo
player appeared
on our cover
again. This is
also the year we
became “social”
