“This is more than just a job or career; it’s a lifestyle. This is
where my passion is. It’s my life,” said Tommy.
The apple doesn’t fall from the tree. Both Brawley men want
to expand their growing businesses and both love what they
do without fail.
“I might be tired at the end of the day, but I always look
forward to getting out the door and doing what I have to do.
Whether it is loading and getting to the next show, dragging
the ring, giving lessons, working horses – I absolutely love
what I do, and I love this sport and love sharing it with people,”
explained Bob. “It’s not a huge money maker; it’s a profession
of love. We got into it because we didn’t look at it and think,
‘how are we going to make money.’ We became professionals
because we wanted to ride. And then we worked at making a
living doing what we love.”
