Hot, hot, hot!
Juan Pablo Galavis
, the star of ABC’s
“The Bachelor,”
was looking for true love on the popular
reality show and was often seen taking off his shirt for the
camera and for the ladies. One thing Juan Pablo didn’t take
off, however, was a bright orange rubber

Foundation
bracelet that he hoped would also capture the
audience’s attention. Over the past three years the handsome
bachelor, who is a single father, has played an active role
in helping his friend, charity founder
Liliane Stransky
(who
is also the owner of
Stransky’s Mission Farm
), spread the
word and gain attention for children in need around the world.
Juan Pablo and Liliane are hoping the equestrian world will
follow suit and also wear the bracelets. Order a bracelet at
or find Liliane and fellow
supporters at the horse shows!

Congrats
Andrew Weibrecht
! The
Lake Placid Horse
Show
community is thrilled to congratulate Andrew for bringing
home the Silver Medal in the Alpine Skiing Men’s Super-G
in the 2014 winter Olympics in Sochi! Andrew, son of
Lisa
and Ed Weibrecht
, Vice Chairman of the Lake Placid Horse
Shows Association Board of Directors, has been a wonderful
representative of Lake Placid! He grew up going to the Lake
Placid Horse Shows and represented his small town well while
in Sochi. The Bronze Medal Andrew won at the 2010 Olympics
in Vancouver is proudly displayed at the Mirror Lake Inn, which
is owned by his parents!
