Mark your calendars for The 2012 Sidelines Annual Equestrian Tetrathlon, Sunday, February 5, 2012. The second annual event will be held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, to benefit the Equestrian Aid Foundation. The event will feature the best of Palm Beach’s restaurant fare and cocktails as well as guest chefs preparing food that will entice your palate and will also include both live and silent auction items in tandem with exhilarating entertainment.

Kathy Mailloux tells us she’s a big fan of the nice new vet in Wellie world. Dr. Amanda Miller was a JR/Amateur and grand prix show jumper with her horse, Xanadu, under the tutelage of Joe Fargis, Kim Wickenden and George Morris. Her practice is mostly small animals, although she also does horses. (Big surprise, with her background!)
When Bobby Murphy sets his sights on educating school children about the world of horses – stand back. He played a big role in the “Hats Off” Day recently at the Kentucky Horse Park and he managed to get over 2000 kids out to the “Horse Play” educational part of the National Horse Show. Well done Bobby.
We understand that the USET Foundation Fundraiser that was scheduled for the International Polo Club has been moved to the special events tent at the Winter Equestrian Festival. The event will be catered by Ken Rose Catering and the honorary chairpersons are Matt and Annette Lauer. It is going to be a fun evening and rumor has it, this event is almost sold out and the invitations haven’t even gone out yet.
