Todd Minikus and Mama Lee celebrating her 90th birthday!
Lee Schiavi started spending her winters in Wellington and became a spectator fan of show jumping. One rider in particular became her favorite — “the gutsy, unstoppable Todd Minikus.” When Lee (better known as Mama Lee) was asked what she wanted for her 90th birthday, she answered, “After years of watching Todd jumping, I’d like to meet him in person.” Mama Lee’s close family friend, equine social media guru Alex Starke and JRPR’s Johnny Robb reached out to Todd, who was happy to invite Mama Lee to the farm. So Mama Lee celebrated her 90th birthday at a luncheon at the farm with Todd and Amanda Minikus. The day made her heart jump with joy.
