Katie Monahan Prudent Elected to International Jumping Riders Club Board of Directors

Katie Prudent has been elected to the board of directors of the International Jumping Riders Club. Ms. Prudent was nominated by the North American Riders Group.  NARG has charged Prudent with the task of unifying North American riders and International riders in their collective efforts to advance the sport of Show Jumping.

“We agree with the FEI that clean sport and fair play are essential to the future of Show Jumping.  But it is also critical that reason and common sense be applied to rule enforcement.  I am hopeful that the International Jumping Riders Club can contribute to a healthy future for Show Jumping world-wide” said Katie Monahan-Prudent.

Katie is uniquely qualified for this position due to her vast international show jumping experience.  She has lived and competed abroad for more than a decade.  Katie has represented the United States and France on many occasions and is a three-time American Grand Prix Association rider of the year.  Recently, Katie re-established her U.S. rider status for international competition.

NARG thanks Katie for her commitment to show jumping in North America and wishes her well in this endeavor.
