BarnManager sponsored a unique Dressage for Jumping clinic taught by U.S. Olympic team bronze medalist Laura Graves at Ohana Equestrian Preserve in Aldie, Virginia, in August. The clinic was the prize awarded to the winners of the 2017 Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Barn Night video contest, which was won by the riders of Kama Godek LLC. Laura taught nine riders from Kama’s barn with varying levels, including Maya Aryal, Nicole Butchko, Erin Gilmore, Kama Godek, Abby Grabowski, Stefanie Oberhausen, Casey Osborne, Stefan Parker and Piper Tyrell. “I think Laura’s success is a testament to her approach to the horses and to the sport, and we were lucky to have a full day to learn from her and watch her work with riders of all levels,” said Nicole Lakin, founder and CEO of BarnManager. “We’re happy to be involved with WIHS and even more so to be a part of this clinic, which we think was really special.” Auditors were also welcome at no cost and the archived livestream of the clinic is available on USEF Network.
