Good Vibes, Good Rides: The Girls of Good Vibe Bracelets

By Britney Grover

Portraits by Katie Faircloth

When anyone buys a custom bracelet from Good Vibes Bracelets, they also receive a peppermint for their pony or horse and a personal thank-you note handwritten by the owners and operators: 9-year-old Sophia Luzinski, 11-year-old Bianca Ingui and 13-year-old Gracie Ingui of Naples, Florida.

Sophia doesn’t have any sisters of her own, so she loves getting to spend the extra time with real-life sisters Bianca and Gracie. All three train with Steve and Tania Di Carlo with Benchmark Equestrian in the Children’s Pony divisions. Sophia broke the chain of playing baseball in her father’s family of major leaguers when she chose a bit over a ball. “I started riding when I was 2 years old,” Sophia said. “My first horse was named Malibu and I did a little barrel racing with her, but then found that English riding was my niche.”

Sharing the horse passion with a sister has its perks, but it can also mean sharing a pony! Bianca and Gracie have shared a pony since they started riding in Pennsylvania at 8 and 10 years old on their first pony, Merida, with trainer Brooke Brown. But thanks in part to their business venture, Bianca and Gracie may soon be riding side by side rather than one after the other. “Gracie and I are currently searching for new ponies,” Bianca said, “and are excited to see what Steve and Tania have in store for us.”

When did you start your company, and what gave you the idea?

Gracie: We were going to the World Equestrian Center in February 2024 to try ponies and be with our barn family while they showed. Sophia called us and said, “Do you want to sell bracelets at WEC?” Bianca and I said yes, of course. We didn’t even tell our parents! We made the bracelets and met in Ocala, and we sold them out of the back seats of a golf cart and at the Grand Prix. It was a big hit. When we were at the Grand Prix, a rider that had bought our bracelet earlier that day approached us and said, “Hey, I placed in my show today, I had good clean rounds; your bracelet gave me good vibes!” We looked at each other and all realized that should be the name of our company we had talked about opening. And Good Vibe Bracelets was born!

What part does your company play in the horse world?

Sophia: Each bracelet we make is super special. No one knows this, but we pray after making each one. We pray that the rider has a safe ride and good vibes! And if they aren’t for a rider, we pray they have a happy life and good health. It’s also special because your horse or pony name is on the bracelet. When the girl approached us at WEC and said she had a good, clean round, it just showed me that our prayers worked on the bracelets.

How are you selling the bracelets?

Sophia: We have an Instagram page—you should follow us.

Gracie: We also take custom orders and mail all around the United States.

Bianca: And we sell at horse shows, too!

What’s your goal for Good Vibe Bracelets?

Gracie: To give anyone who wears our bracelets good vibes! We want to be in tack shops and other equestrian-related events.

Sophia: And for all of our bracelets to be worn in the derby and Grand Prix! We’re in the process of a store in Ocala having them in their gift shop, and a few tack stores around the States.

Bianca: We want to have everyone wearing one at the horse shows and at their barns, too.

What great things have happened because of your business?

Bianca: We get to meet and talk to a lot of different people. We are learning about how a business gets created and run. It’s not easy!

Sophia: It’s brought us closer as friends. I get to work with Gracie and Bianca every day. We work together on shipping and the orders coming in. I don’t have any sisters, but having them around and our close bond makes me feel like we are sisters.

Gracie: We want to inspire other girls to do what they love! Never give up!

What’s the best thing about your life?

Sophia: The best thing about my life is I have the best mom and dad.

Gracie: Horseback riding, sharing our passion with our pony friends and being able to do it with my sister Bianca.

Bianca: Going to the barn to ride and being with my family.

All: Having a pony and being able to be at the barn whenever we want for as long as we want. Also, we all met because we ride. And look where we are now: best friends and we have this company together! Life is perfect!
