World Championship Hunter Rider Program Returns to Vermont East Dorset, Vermont – The World Championship Hunter Rider Program (WCHR) has returned to the 2012 Vermont Summer Festival horse show, which runs July 4 through August 12 at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT. Scott Stewart of Wellington, FL, who has won the WCHR Finals a historic four times, is competing at the 2012 Vermont Summer Festival

From Pony Derby to Grand Prix–Jackson Brittan Wows Crowd Parker, CO– The $40,000 Weathertech.com Grand Prix presented by Wells Fargo Advisors was the highlight of week five of the Colorado Summer Circuit. Thirty-one competitive horse and rider pairs tested their mettle against a challenging course set by Anderson Lima, with eight jumping clean to advance to the second round. Talented riders like Hector Florentino, Maggie Jayne, Kelsey Thatcher and Bjorn Ikast gave the jump-off a valiant effort, but Canadian Olympian John Pearce had another victory in his pocket.

Currently seeking a home, Later recently came to the Aiken SPCA with an incredible tale – he bumped into an alligator at a small pond in Columbia and experienced a small scuffle with the irritated carnivorous reptile

Castlewood has traveled to a new venue for us: Traverse City, Michigan, home of Horse shows by the Bay. It took some 13 hours of driving for us to reach our second stop on our summer tour, but the journey has been well worth the trouble. From the layout of the facility, to the hotels, the food, entertainment, and a sun that seemingly never set, we have enjoyed the experience.
