PSdressage.com Sponsors Cocktail Party at Dressage Canada Florida Fortnight

Wellington, FL – January 22, 2014 – More than 75 competitors and presenters celebrated the beginning of the Dressage Canada Florida Fortnight Event with a cocktail party on Monday, Jan. 20. The evening gathering, held at The Wanderers Club in Wellington, FL, was sponsored by PSdressage.com.

Partygoers had a chance to rehash what they learned earlier in the evening at the “Branding, Marketing and Media Training” seminar, featuring Marty Bauman, founder of Classic Communications; Chip McKenney, Chief Operations Officer at Troika Design Group; and Ariel Weisman, North America Equine Marketing Coordinator at Alltech. Mason Phelps, Jr., founder and president of Phelps Media Group andPSdressage.com, moderated the event.

Guests networked, made new connections and refreshed old friendships while enjoying cocktails and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Participants could be heard discussing the seminar and then personalizing the tips for their individual and team situations. Good-natured teasing followed the mock press conference in which Canadian dressage athletes Diane Creech, David Marcus and Karen Pavicic provided answers to tough questions posed by the presenters and PSdressage.com team members.

Desi Dillingham, MBE, Special Advisor to Dressage Canada, was all smiles during the party following the first event of the Florida Fortnight.

Jacqueline Brooks, one of Canada’s top dressage competitors, said she is encouraging everyone to attend the events open to the public.

“People think these events don’t include them, but they do and most are open to everyone,” she said. “They wonder if the events apply to them. They do. Whether you are just getting into the sport or are in the middle of your career or have made some teams, you can learn so much.”

The Dressage Canada Florida Fortnight Event will continue with presentations by equine health practitioners, a CDI-W with headphone commentary provided by top equestrian experts, equine and human sports nutrition and more. A full schedule of events is available here.
