Hilltop Farm is excited to share the news that Riverman (Redfort – Landego) is once again being honored with the USEF South Pacific Award, which is given annually to the leading US-based jumper sire based on the success of their offspring in USEF competitions. The South Pacific award is donated by Joan Irvine Smith and is named after her international Grand Prix competitor and sire South Pacific. This is the third consecutive year that Riverman has earned this title!
A few special highlights for Riverman offspring competing in the jumper ring this season included: River of Dreams (Riverman-Merano), Reno (Riverman-Caretino), and Claire de Lune(Riverman – Contender). River of Dreams won a total of five Grand Prix classes throughout the 2013 season, including the $50,000 FEI International Omaha Grand Prix at the Omaha National and the $40,000 Grand Prix at the National Western Stock Show. Reno continues to actively compete in the Amateur Owner Jumpers earning top ribbons at WEF, Hampton Classic, and Old Salem. Claire de Lune earned top ribbons at WEF in the 7-Year Old jumpers under rider Todd Minikus. We also see numerous Riverman offspring competing in the Childrens, Junior, and Amateur Owner Jumpers such as Rehbein (Riverman x Latunja)and Remington (Riverman – Renoldo).
