UPPER MARLBORO, Md, Jan. 14, 2014—On December 19, 2013 Thoroughbred Placement Resources was awarded Accredited status by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS). “Being awarded GFAS Accredited status is an honor that will helps us further our mission to provide the best possible care for the horses we rescue, and to promote the overall welfare of the Thoroughbred horse,” said Kimberly Clark, founder of TPR, a non-profit organization which works to retrain and find qualified homes for retired Thoroughbreds, as well as to educate owners, trainers and the general public about the value of retired racehorses as show and pleasure horses.

Wellington, FL – January 10, 2014 – The Adequan Global Dressage Festival kicked off the “Friday Night Stars” series with an exciting FEI Grand Prix Freestyle competition and full spectator stands at The Stadium at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Leading the way was Tinne Vilhelmson-Silfven (SWE) on Don Auriello, who won with a score of 81.575%. Lars Petersen (DEN) and Mariett scored 76.925% for second place

Riverman Wins USEF South Pacific Award

Hilltop Farm is excited to share the news that Riverman (Redfort – Landego) is once again being honored with the USEF South Pacific Award, which is given annually to the leading US-based jumper sire based on the success of their offspring in USEF competitions. The South Pacific award is donated by Joan Irvine Smith and is named after her international Grand Prix competitor and sire South Pacific.
