Shoot great videos of your foals with a Hedcamz!

HedCamz: HEDCAM is fully self contained with a built-in battery that gives 1.5 to 2 hours of filming in 720p HD mode. It takes MicroSD cards up to 32 GB which will give you hours of 720p video footage. It comes with a range of mounting options allowing you to mount it on your head, arm, helmet, horse, bridle, girth, or for non equestrians in the family; MTB, family dog, motorcycle, ski goggles and even your swimming goggles. It can be used for filming practically anything, whether it’s your favourite snow sport or filming the kids playing in the garden. It’s so small and light you don’t even know it’s there. Best of all, its waterproof to 10 metres too!

This really is a great package. It even includes a main charger and a 4GB MicroSDHC (CLASS 10) card!

RRP: GBP £129.99 US$ 207.99.  See www.hedcamz.com

7 Great Clinics from Buck Brannaham – 10 hours worth of viewing and training!

“Lessons on Horseback” 7 clinics on 3 CD’s – the complete series by Buck Brannaham, valued at $160 with a running time of 10 hours.

Keep your horse happy this winter with a Bit Blanket!

“Bit Blanket” – Warm that bit!  Cold bits make for an uncomfortable bitting experience for your horse and can also damage the soft-tissue inside their mouths, interfere with training, and create a horse that’s resistant to being bridled.  Bit Blanket, the electric bit warmer, easily and effectively prevents cold-bit pain, discomfort, soft-tissue damage, and training problems while maintaining a positive association with the bitting process and protecting the sensitivity of your horse’s mouth. www.bitblanket.com

A panel of judges will determine the winners as well as a selection of photos that will appear in the January issue of Sidelines Magazine. All photos may be posted on the Sidelines Facebook page now and in the future.

 Only one entry per person.

I vote on Ed Van Meter’s picture of the Thoroughbred Chestnut mare touching noses with the palomino filly. The mare was a rescue mare from http://www.secondstride.org that was starved and severely foundered. The father of the foal is a cremello imported German Warmblood standing at http://www.moserwood.com.
