Asbury, NJ – October 21, 2013 - The crowning jewel of the 2013 Hunter/Jumper Horse Show series, The Fifth Annual Asbury Classic, came to a conclusion October 13, 2013 at the Ridge at Riverview. The show saw top competitors gather to contend for the coveted prizes in their respective divisions, and was highly successful with extraordinary sponsorships, fabulous exhibitor amenities and a fantastic turnout for the 2013 Asbury Classic II.

Ellen Toon Wins Amateur-Owner Grand Hunter Championship at Pennsylvania National Horse Show

Harrisburg, PA – October 19, 2013 – Ellen Toon, of South Salem, NY, and her aptly named horse INVINCIBLE, were crowned Amateur-Owner Grand Hunter Champions today at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. This is the third time the pair have won this prestigious title.   Toon and INVINCIBLE also won their third Amateur-Owner Hunter 36 & Over Championship, while Nancy Hooker and CASTLEWALK, owned by Richard Prant, were Reserve Champions.

Emilie Rucci Wins North American League Pony Jumper Finals at Pennsylvania National Horse Show

Harrisburg, PA – October 18, 2013 – Emilie Rucci, of Pittstown, NJ, and I SPY A RAINBOW won the $4,000 North American League (NAL) Pony Jumper Finals today at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show.   Out of eleven starters, only four made it to the jump-off. Spectators – including the top jumper riders – filled the best seats in the house and encouraged the smaller competitors with cheers and ‘clicks’ at moments where the ponies might have had a moment’s hesitation.
