The North American Riders Group congratulates Chrystine Tauber on achieving the honor of becoming the next President of the United States Equestrian Federation.
Chrystine was nominated by the NARG on June 25, 2012 and had our full support throughout the process. With deep, relevant experience that has prepared her for the position, Chrystine clearly has the credentials to serve in this new role.
Having competed as a high performance athlete representing the United States in international competition, she is currently an active USEF “R” hunter, jumper and equitation judge plus is a licensed FEI show jumping judge. Further, Chrystine has served as the Executive Director of the American Horse Show Association (AHSA), the Director of Show Jumping Activities for the United States Equestrian Team, a board member for the USEF (current), a board member of the United States Hunter Jumper Association, a board member of the USHJA foundation and many more. She is also active in various charitable organizations including Junior League, Girl Scouts, Horses in the Hood, Equestrian Aid Foundation and Handicapped Riding. Of note, Chrystine also served on the Board of the U.S. Olympic Committee. She has worked hard to cultivate relationships that expand the entire reach of USEF organization.
NARG feels certain this new leadership and the restructuring of the USHJA will create a fresh direction and focus in our governing body and our affiliate. We are looking forward to working together with these organizations to grow our industry and create better sport across the United States. NARG is confident that by working together under this new set of parameters we can improve our sport.
