Patricia Powers’ solo show opens in November at a contemporary art gallery in the hottest little art town in the US: Hudson, NY. Many of her followers have been watching this series take shape and eagerly anticipate the unveiling.
The series “Not Black and White” is about the way Powers paints horses of those colors: without any black or white. She has juxtaposed her version of black and white horses against backgrounds made of actual black, whites and greys. There will be other new pieces as well.
There is a special preview Saturday, November 14th from 6-8 PM, and a second reception Saturday November 21st during the same hours. The show runs from November 14 to December 28.
