(SPRUCE MEADOWS, Calgary, AB): The sun and the stars and stripes were shining, and 38,110 people came out to Spruce Meadows to enjoy International-level sport and a celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee with the ATCO Power Queen Elizabeth II Cup, on the Saturday of the 2012 Spruce Meadows ‘North American’ Tournament. David Marcus Named to Canadian Olympic Team

Dressage Athlete to ride Chrevi’s Capital at London Olympics Calgary , Alberta – David Marcus of Campbellville, ON, was officially nominated to the Canadian Olympic Team for dressage in a Canadian Olympic Committee media announcement made July 5 in Calgary, Alberta.  Marcus and his horse, Chrevi’s Capital, owned by Deborah Miculinic, will compete in the dressage portion of the 2012 London Olympic Games held August 2 to 9 in Greenwich Park.
