A Great Video For Dog Lovers!

Monday, July 29 2013 by Editor
By Jan Westmark-Allan   My dog Bugs – found on the side of the road about 9 years ago. Faithful companion, lover of food and trusty sidekick! My last blog was about dogs, and here we go again – another dog blog. But as I have said before, loving horses and loving dogs goes hand in hand – or hoof in paw

David Marcus Debuts New Mount, Don Altena

Sunday, July 14 2013 by Editor
By Jan Westmark-Allan “Don Altena made his competition debut under Canadian Olympian David Marcus at the CornerStone Summer Festival held July 12 to 14 at Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, ON.” Photo Credit – Ally Dunlop Canadian Olympic Dressage rider David Marcus appeared on the April cover of Sidelines Magazine with his gorgeous Olympic partner Chrevi’s Capital. I had the pleasure of attending the photo shoot (at Tuny Page’s Stillpoint Farm in Wellington, Florida) and it was a great shoot! Photographer Sue Stickle took a zillion photos (not sure it that is an accurate number) and David and Chrevi were great sports – not to mention very photogenic! After the photo shoot, David saddled up his other great mount Don Kontes and rode him in the indoor for us. It was beautiful – poetry in motion.
