From the moment Ellie arrived her family knew she would have multiple obstacles to overcome in her future. At 27 years old Ellie has met those challenges head-on giving other children and adults with Cerebral Palsy a hero to look up to.

Riverman Wins USEF South Pacific Award

Hilltop Farm is excited to share the news that Riverman (Redfort – Landego) is once again being honored with the USEF South Pacific Award, which is given annually to the leading US-based jumper sire based on the success of their offspring in USEF competitions. The South Pacific award is donated by Joan Irvine Smith and is named after her international Grand Prix competitor and sire South Pacific.

Ballston Spa, NY — Are you a horse owner interested in the nutritional value of the hay you are feeding your horse? Is the definition of “good hay” confusing to you? On Thursday, January 9th,2014 from 6:30-8:30 pm, Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties, will host guest speaker, Paul Sirois, director of Forage Laboratory Services from Equi-Analytical laboratories, for a hay nutritional analysis workshop.

He earned both his USDF Silver Medal and USDF Gold Medal on just two PRE (Spanish) horses in one season. He also swept the state dressage association awards.

1988 Eclipse Champion Sunshine Forever, Dead at 29

GEORGETOWN, KY – JANUARY 7, 2014 – Sunshine Forever, the 1988 Eclipse Award Turf Champion, died January 7 at Old Friends, the Thoroughbred Retirement farm in Georgetown, KY. The 29-year-old stallion was discovered in his paddock at dawn today and a necropsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
