Interiors shop and world-renowned jeweler host 2-day event in Southampton Village Southampton, NY – August 26, 2013 – Two designers from two different worlds recently teamed up to give back. Kitty Clay, owner of the new eponymous interiors boutique in Southampton welcomed jewelry designer Michel Piranesi of Sintessi on Thursday, August 22 and Friday, August 23 for two “Meet the Designer” events to benefit JustWorld International. Hosted by JustWorld Ambassadors Reed Kessler, Nic Roldan, Candice King and Brandon Phillips , guests sipped on rosé and nibbled on light bites as they perused Kitty’s eclectic mix of home goods, sourced from artisans around the world. Life Sized Puppet From Tony Awarding Winning Play Makes One-Night Appearance New Cumberland, PA –Meet Joey, star of the “landmark theater event” War Horse on Friday, Oct. 18th. Joey, the life-sized horse puppet who created a sensation on Broadway in War Horse , will make his first appearance in Central Pennsylvania at the 68th Annual Pennsylvania National Horse Show. Joey will appear one night only during the popular ten-day horse show, which will be held October 10th to 19th at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA.

Jordan MacPherson Claims $35,000 CSI2* RAM Equestrian Grand Prix at Caledon Equestrian Park

Palgrave, Ontario – It was a case of the student beating the teacher as Jordan MacPherson of Toronto, ON, beat out Ian Millar to win the $35,000 CSI2* Ram Equestrian Grand Prix held August 3 during the CSI2* Summer Festival at the Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, ON. The Caledon Equestrian Park will host the equestrian events for the 2015 Pan American Games. Jordan MacPherson of Toronto, ON, rode Piccobello du Val de Geer to victory in the $35,000 CSI2* ShootPhoto.ca photo Five riders were able to pass the test set by two-time Olympic course designer Leopoldo Palacios of Venezuela, successfully negotiating the first round track to advance to the all-deciding jump-off. USA EQUESTRIAN TRUST AWARDS NEARLY $210,000 IN FIRST ROUND OF 2013 GRANTS

Deadline for Second Round is October 7 July 17, 2013 — Lexington, KY — USA Equestrian Trust has awarded nearly $210,000 in grants for 10 projects submitted by equine non-profits during the first of the foundation’s two 2013 application periods. The deadline for the Trust’s second grant application period is October 7. Equine non-profits interested in applying for a grant can do so by using the Trust’s online application form at www.trusthorses.org .
