Dear Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Happy Thanksgiving! This is the time we reflect on our own thankfulness for the life we have…so here is my very feeble attempt to tell you how grateful and happy we are, and that BDRR, their staff, and their volunteers are amazing! About three years ago and around the holidays, you rescued Auggie from certain death. For him, the first few months of his life were less than wonderful

If your horse wears shoes, then at some point you’ll probably discover that he’s removed one all on his own. But if you should discover your horse has only partially dislodged his shoe, you may need to take matters into your own hands if your farrier is not immediately available. Leaving a horse with a partially dislodged or a loose shoe can put him at risk of harming himself.
