HSUS logo For years, The HSUS has been critical of the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) wild horse and burro program— consistently pressing the agency to make fundamental changes that allow the program to focus on on-the-range management practices. Unfortunately, the program remains characterized by a cycle of rounding up and removing animals that has resulted in approximately 47,000 of our nation’s iconic wild horses and burros being kept in holding facilities throughout the United States, a debacle that cost taxpayers over $46 million last year alone. The BLM recognizes that there are simply too many animals in holding facilities, and they are trying to solve this problem — something we at The HSUS applaud.
Fred is a real love bug and just happy being loyal to his master. He’s a big Lab mix, and would best be suited in a home where he can interact and play with his human companions. Fred is an older gentleman who is easygoing and chilled out – no puppy problems with him! He is so ready for his new adoptive family – maybe yours?

Gloria is a sweet young girl that came to the ranch ready to pop. She had her pups and is a wonderful momma, but they will be heading to homes of their own by around Christmas, and Gloria would like her own furever family! She and her pups are enjoying a wonderful foster home right now, so if you are interested in more information or meeting sweet Gloria, please email email@example.com. I am looking for that special someone to adopt me and give me a forever home.
