Halliday enjoys winning weekend at Firle Place International

Professional dual sportswoman Liz Halliday returned to winning ways at Firle Place International Horse Trials last weekend thanks to a stellar performance from one of Chailey Stud’s most promising talents. Following a scintillating start to the season, which included qualifying for the British Novice Championships, Trevor (Endymion Entrechat) continued his eventing action in style by claiming victory in the Open Novice category.

With a legacy of 68 years of helping children, and a leader in giving, Pin Oak has donated more than $4.5 million to help build Texas Children’s Hospital’s Main and West Campuses. Seven years ago, Pin Oak created an educational field trip, inviting 1st and 2nd grade school children to the show for a “behind the scenes” barn tour to foster a passion for horses and excite young children about the world of equestrian sports.

Pony Club Championships East August 6, 2012 (Lexington, KY) The excitement of the 2012 Pony Club Championships East is beginning to dissipate but the memories and fun will last a lifetime.  Members qualified in Games, Show Jumping, Eventing, Polocrosse, Quiz, Tetrathlon, or Dressage and competed in Lexington, VA on July 26-29, 2012.  Although there isn’t much math in riding, there were some interesting numbers this year in the hosting of Championships. 3 – Days of non-stop competition fun

The Dressage Foundation Awards Continuing Education Grants To Five Dressage Instructors

August 6, 2012 – The Dressage Foundation’s Continuing Education for Dressage Instructors Fund, established by Maryal Barnett, has awarded grants to five individuals to attend the United States Dressage Federation’s Instructor Certification Program. Kalli Bowles (CA), Megan Dischler (WI), Heather McCullough (NC), Colleen Reid (CA) and Alejandro Salazar (CA) each received a $1,250 grant to further their education as instructors
