Many of the snow birds have no idea what Aiken is like in the summer and are baffled by the idea of riding in 90 degree weather every day from around May to about October! Despite the many beliefs, there is a lot to do in Aiken during the summer! Yes it may not be as busy and all the Olympians might not be here but summer in Aiken has been something that myself and others have learned to love. So here is a list of what us Aikenites do in the summer! We take a break! In Aiken we can pretty much keep our horses going all year long! However, we all know that’s not fair to our ponies.
