More showing, more progress and many thanks!

Tuesday, March 04 2014 by Editor
This past weekend we had multiple riders compete at the Sporting Days HT! Brendan Quinn and Smoke rode in the Training Rider B division and placed 4th! Rebecca Beaudry and Jerry rode in the Training Rider B division and placed 5th! Manon Quilodran and Orison competed in their first training in the Rider B division! Alexa Hamilton and Winston did their second training in the Rider A division! Robin Oliver and Sky-walker did their first Begginger Novice recognized together! Heather Bartlett and Little Bit of Faith rode in the Novice Rider B division! I rode my Carino in the training rider A division and placed 3rd!   We have received two very generous anonymous  donations this past week! One was absolutely AMAZING saddle pads with our logo on them. We got one for every rider and we can not wait to use them at shows…especially our team challenge at FENCE in April! We also had a donation of $250 through our new gofundme.com account. We can not believe the about of generosity, support and kindness we have received from many people

How to Take Advantage of Winter Rides

Friday, February 28 2014 by Editor
Riding can be frustrating in the winter weather. Poor riding conditions like frozen footing or brutally cold temperatures can make rides unpleasant and limit the amount of work that we can do with our horses. Whether or not you are lucky enough to have a barn with an indoor arena , it is important to take advantage of all of the saddle time that you can get during the winter.

Preparing Yourself to Ride

Friday, February 21 2014 by Editor
Our horses are incredible athletes, and every time we ride them they share their athleticism with us. As riders, we’re athletes too. So while you probably stretch your horse and give him long warm-ups to make sure that he’s ready for work, it’s equally as important to prepare yourself before each ride

The Right-Sized Barn

Tuesday, January 28 2014 by Editor
